Dr Prasad Bhukebag is a practising Consultant Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal, Bariatric, Hernia & General Surgeon, with more than 14 years of experience in Laparoscopic and General Surgery.

After completing his MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (Belgaum), he did his Masters in General Surgery from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore.

He then pursued his Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery at Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. He has also successfully completed MRCS (Edinburgh) and MRCPS (Glasgow).

He completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Law & Ethics from the National Law School of India University.

Dr Bhukebag has published multiple articles in international journals and has co-authored a chapter on Bariatric and Metabolic surgery in the textbook ‘Laparoscopic Surgery’ published by Intech Open

He was conferred the Fellowship of American College of Surgeons in 2019 and he is a life member of the Association of Surgeons of India and the Asia Pacific Hernia Society.
