Dr Deepak Patkar, Director of Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai, has nearly 32 years of experience in the field of radiology with key roles in diagnostics, academics and administration.
He is also experienced in clinical team expansion and brings experience 19 years of experience as a post-graduate teacher for DNB. He is the former Chairman of the Indian College of Radiology and Imaging.
Dr Patkar is a member of the National Steering Committee for Indigenous Magnetic Resonance Imaging headed by IIT, Mumbai. He is also the Chairman of the Scientific Committee Asia Oceanic Congress of Radiology.
He is the recipient of the Best Radiology Teacher Award at the Radiology and Imaging Conclave and has delivered more than 1000 lectures and orations at national and international conferences. He has published over 150 national and 75 international indexed publications, predominantly on neuroimaging and musculoskeletal MRI related topics.
