Recent news on the Covid numbers says that India has newly reported 14,306 Covid-19 cases. In the last 24 hours, the number has been 18,762, as per the Ministry of Health and Family this Monday.
Thus, the active cases on the last 239 days stands for 1,67,695 covid-19 cases. The active cases are standing for less than 1% of the overall cases which at present, is at 49%. This has been the lowest since the beginning of the pandemic in India, i.e, in March 2020.
Apart from that, the recovery rate is also high as 1.24% along with the regular positivity rate at approximately 1.43%.
India has, till date, conducted more than 60.07 crore tests. Also, at present, there are 102.27 crore vaccine doses that have been successfully administered so far. This has been recorded under the repository of National Vaccination Drive.
