COVID-19 vaccination coverage in India has crossed almost 165.6 crore with over 53 lakh vaccine doses administered this Saturday, as per a recent report by the Union health ministry.
The regular vaccination tally is expected to double up with the compilation of the final reports, as per recent statement.
Approximately, 53,96,51,188 first doses have been administered to the age group of 18-44.
Almost 40,19,58,479 second doses have been given under the same age group with the beginning of vaccination phase-3 drive, as per health ministry data.
Again, cumulatively, 93,87,16,725 first doses was administered while second doses of 70,57,49,826 have been administered.
India’s total COVID-19 vaccination coverage crossed more than 165.6 crore (1,65,60,85,526) on Saturday. Also more 53 lakh (53,47,810) vaccine doses were administered till 7 pm.
In the age group of 15-18 years, 4,55,48,237 portions have been directed.
In excess of 1,16,18,975 precautionary measure dosages for the recognized classes of recipients for inoculation have been directed up until this point. The everyday inoculation count is relied upon to increment with the assemblage of the last reports for the day by late this evening, as per reports.
