The Allahabad High Court has suggested that the Government of India should consider vaccinating all students appearing for offline board examinations for safety against Covid-19.
The Allahabad High Court stated that if the Board and other examination conducting bodies are planning to conduct examinations in offline mode, then the government must consider extending vaccination benefits to the students appearing for these exams.
It also stated, “Immunization programme must be vigorously carried out through vaccination of a large number of people. Central Government and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) must rethink for extending the benefit of vaccination to students pursuing higher education and those appearing for board examination of high school and intermediate due to the large scale spread of infection in the population of the younger generation.”
